$29/yr

From renewal to release
Between the renewal date and losing the name there are stages, each with its own rules and costs. On the domains we look after, our reminders come before the renewal date.
Registered
Day one. The name is yours for the years you pay for, registered through OpenSRS, or CIRA for .ca.
Renewal due
The anniversary comes round. We send reminders before it does, and longer terms cost less per year.
Grace period
The renewal date has passed. You can still renew without the redemption fee, for a time that depends on the ending.
Redemption
+ $150
The grace time is over and the domain stops working. You can still get it back, for an extra $150.
Dropped
Released after a short wait. Anyone can register it then, and the only way back is to register it again, if it’s still free.
Moving a domain to us
The same three steps for one domain or a dozen.
Step 1
At your current registrar, remove the transfer lock and ask for the transfer code (also called an EPP or auth code).
Step 2
We start the transfer through OpenSRS, and set up the domain’s DNS on our own servers.
Step 3
If your current registrar asks you to approve the transfer, say yes, and the domain is with us.
